The Bonnet-t-e's & Kin, Vol. 18, pp. 1-7, 1994. Records of the Reformed Church at Friedrichstal, near Karlsruhe, Germany, list her as a daughter of Jacques and Marie Desreux Bonnet. The Bonnet-t-e's & Kin, Vol. 18, pp. 1-7, 1994. Original source is Recollections of Lewis Bonnett, Jr. (1778-1850). The Bonnet-t-e's & Kin, Vol. 18, pp. 1-7, 1994. Howard L. Leckey 1977, The Ten Mile Country and its Pioneer Descendents: the families of John Bonnett and John Wetzel were from Pennsylvania, from whence they moved to the Shenandoah, then to Dunkard Creek (in present day Greene County). The settlers also included the Eberlys, Waggoners, Rosencranz and Zanes, as well as John Conrad Sykes. John and Catherine Sykes and some of the Waggoners stayed on Dunkard Creek, but most of the party moved on to settle near the Ohio River at Wheeling, West Virginia.
